FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá – the represent honorably of FPT University, together with 37 other education institutions, participated in the CDIO Meeting 2016 on August 25, 2016.

Its delegation presented the report title: Designing learning outcomes and integrated curricula approaching to CDIO Standards for two new professions (E-Commerce – Digital & Online Marketing and Public Relationship – PR & Event Management).

Participants of the CDIO Meeting 2016 included Mr. Huynh Van Bay – FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá Head of Academic Department doubles as Director of CDIO project, Ms. Ho Thi Thao Nguyen – a representative of Curriculum Development Department doubles as Vice Director of CDIO project, and 6 other Curriculum Development Department’s staffs of FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá and FPT University.

Since the early 2016, Recognizing that designing learning outcomes is not only to simply provide knowledge but also equip essential skills and attitudes to students to meeting the demands of enterprises, FPT University has researched and applied CDIO standards for designing and improving the curriculum appropriately. It is known that CDIO thoroughly evaluated and assessed as an effective tool to improve the curriculum, teaching and learning quality, and learning spaces, and etc. Therefore, FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá piloted CDIO in designing and implementing the curriculum approaching to CDIO.

Within the seminar’s content, Mr. Huynh Van Bay – FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá Head of Academic Department doubles as Director of CDIO project presented about the process of designing learning outcomes and CDIO-oriented integrated curriculum and determining essential skills and attitudes series to meet the requirements of enterprises. Specifically, it is applied systematically and consistently in designing curricula of two new professions: E-Commerce – Digital & Online Marketing and Public Relationship – PR & Event Management. After that, Mr. Bay also presented a detailed schedule of short and long-term plans as following: Designing course’s syllabi, Prepare lesson plans, and Designing the rubrics to assess student’s learning outcomes approaching to CDIO.

Mr. Truong Cong Duan – FPT Undergraduate’s Curriculum Development Manager gave some comments on the FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá ’ seminar: “The seminar of FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá was performed in a continuous improvement cycle from drafting, testing, collecting feedback, revising, and re-collecting feedback. Besides, the seminar provided adequately course’s objectives, learning outcomes, and a combination of Blended learning and Project-based learning in some courses. This helped to persuade leaders to agree to participate and monitor the CDIO project as well as invest more than one billion VND for implementing CDIO project from 2016 -2018.”

As an participant, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Mai – Deputy Manager of Teaching Quality Development – Thu Dau Mot University shared: “A lot of people paid attention to the FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá ’s seminar because of its highlights: Core values and educational philosophy responding to demands of enterprises. This is the thing that recently many universities have paid their special attention to because education is close to enterprise’s environment, it supplies the generations of students meeting the demands of society. Nextly, I am highly appreciated the educational philosophy “Real Learning – Real Practice”, because it could not be done well by almost of educational institutions in Vietnam. Finally, FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá also designed a series of essential skills which is extremely necessary for students to integrate into the global and open economics as nowadays.”

It is estimated that on March 15, 2017, in Thailand, the CDIO project of FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá are going to be officially present and defend in front of The CDIO Board of Members at the CDIO Regional Meeting in Thailand. If the presentation is successful, this will lead FPT Education (FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá ) to be recognized an official member of the CDIO Association in the near future.

CDIO Project was implemented in accordance with the Decision No. 374/QĐ-ĐHFPT dated May 18, 2016 of FPT University Rector with estimated 3-year period (from 2016 to 2018). It has been applied for two new CDIO-approached professions at FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá : E-Commerce – Digital & Online Marketing and Public Relationship – PR & Event Management Project team includes nine members who are education and curriculum development experts, have CDIO experience, and participated in many domestic and international CDIO conferences. In the short-term, FPT Mạng cá cược bóng đá has applied CDIO standards in two new professions. After that, other professions’ curricula will be adjusted approaching to CDIO standards. By the end of 2018, all of vocational training’s curricula will expectedly be approached CDIO standards as planned.
